IGN Fallout 3 Preview videoOh holy crap. Now of course I was going to get this game no matter what. It's Fallout 3 for crying out loud. If you haven't played Fallout and Fallout 2, go find a high-priced dominatrix and have her beat and spank you senseless for a few hours. "You're such a naughty gamer!" After watching this preview video? Oh man. I think I peed a little. October 28th will not come quick enough. All I can say is that I'm suddenly very, very happy that I've quit playing WoW and WAR isn't really grabbing me as such because I'm going to be playing Fallout 3 like a madman come October 28th.

I am a huge old school Fallout fan. I grew up watching my brother play wasteland on the commodore 64.. now I feel 80's!. Post apoc is my favorite genre of games, so of course i am counting down too.
I preordered the collectors edition, so i can get the bobblehead and the lunchbox. I like the direction the game has gone to give you optional stop-action or just shoot and slash. I think the fan boys that want 3rd person isometric style are whiners (of course i think ubi ruined r6). It looks violent to the point of giggles and a lot of fun.
I have even kept track of all the previews. In some bizarre coincidence I formally exported the cameras that shot the preview week from IGN yesterday. I talked to the cameraman that shot the interviews he said he got to play for 6 hours and it was amazing. I felt like a southern woman getting a case of the vapors... If it wasn't for me needing to be the gov't official at the time, i woulda prolly got wood. so yeah I like fallout.

yeah i don't check the forums as much as i used to. most of the games I don't really play so i can't contribute to any posts. I ride my mountain bike instead. I am trying to go back to detroit which may happen soon, so if anyone wants an SF tour, i am off weekends, but make it soon cause in a year i might be a midwestern boy again... and probably a homeowner. The bay area is an easy place to be a homo, but not a homeowner.  |
